Voting has opened for the 2018 Australian Romance Readers Awards and we are delighted to announce that Pamela Hart (aka Pamela Freeman, AWC’s Director of Creativity) and AWC creative writing alumni Penelope Janu and Joanna Nell are amongst the finalists.
Pamela is a finalist in the Favourite Historical Romance Category (sponsored by Hachette Australia) for her book, The Desert Nurse.
Penelope scores a trifecta as a finalist in the Favourite 2018 romance with laugh-out-loud moment category for her book On the Right Track which is also nominated in the Favourite Australian romance of 2018 category. She is also a finalist in the Favourite Australian Romance Author 2018 (sponsored by Booktopia) category.
Joanna is a finalist in the Favourite 2018 romance with laugh-out-loud moment for her book The Single Ladies of Jacaranda Retirement Village.
ARRA members now vote for their favourite in each category and voting closes on 12 February 2019.
Winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner, which will be held at Cello’s Restaurant in Sydney on Saturday 23 February 2019. If you would like to attend the awards dinner, you can buy your ticket here.
