We spoke to Fleur way back in episode 2 of the So You Want to be a Writer podcast, when she had ONLY published 5 books. It’s really fascinating, actually, because that was at the beginning of the Australian rural fiction boom – and it has steadily increased in popularity since then.
Before Fleur reads the prologue of her book, she answers a few quite thorny questions about the rural fiction genre.
