We love hearing from our students no matter what they have to say, but when we hear of a student being published, we just want to shout it from the rooftops! We’re a little scared of heights, so we’ll go with a blog post instead.
Justine says:
Since completing the Magazine and Newspaper Writing course I have published a few features including:
- ‘The Great Library Swindle: Stealing Rare Books' on the Wheeler Centre Dailies website
- ‘Founder of publishing start-up Tablo wants to change the way books are created‘ in The Age/Sydney Morning Herald
- ‘Zines defy death by digital‘ in The Age/Sydney Morning Herald
The AWC Magazine and Newspaper Writing course really helped me to structure feature articles, as well as giving good insights into the pitching process. It built my confidence to get out there and try to get more of my writing published.

If you have a success story to share with us, you can do so right here. We’ll share it with the world!
