We love hearing from our students no matter what they have to say, but when we hear of a student being published, we just want to shout it from the rooftops! We’re a little scared of heights, so we’ll go with a blog post instead.

After spending a month in France with our three kids I was inspired to return home and start pitching my first freelance travel articles. My first pitch to Essential Kids got a big YES. Hopefully it is the first of many :)
I found it so helpful to have written templates to use for my email pitch. It gave me great confidence to have something to follow that would sound very professional. It worked, first pitch led to first commission.
