We have something a little different this week for our giveaway which we just know you’re going to love. It’s from the clever UK-based design studio Dorothy and it’s a street map made up from the titles of over 600 books from the history of English literature (and a few favourites from further afield)!
The four colour litho print map measures 60 x 80cm, printed on 120gsm uncoated art paper with its own A-Z key of all the books included. It’s loosely based on the look of an early 20th century London street map, including classics such as Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey, Bleak House, Vanity Fair and Wuthering Heights along with newer works such as The Waste Land, To the Lighthouse, Animal Farm, Slaughterhouse 5, The Catcher in the Rye, The Wasp Factory, Norwegian Wood and The Road.
There’s even a children's literature district featuring such classics as The Railway Children, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Where the Wild Things Are plus sections devoted to Harry Potter, Tolkien and more!
The detail here is phenomenal – an amazing gift for yourself or the book lover in your life. Imagine it framed on the wall of your favourite reading or writing space…
We have TWO of these maps (unframed) to give away this week to two lucky winners. And to keep the location theme going, simply tell us (in under 25 words) WHERE your favourite place to read a good book is and why!
The TWO entries that “where” it best will be our two winners!
THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR YOUR ENTRIES! WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN OUR NEWSLETTER.
